::::: Elysium Eilde is not only a talented photographer and clothing designer, but has now also used her talent to create original makeups for my Jade skin line. I asked her to create some fun makeups on the Jade base and gave her total freedom, and I'm glad she accepted!
She tells me they will be packed and ready for release this weekend!
The makeups will be available for all eyebrow colours and skintones of the Jade skin line, on viewer 2 tattoo layers.
NOTE: they will only work on Jade skins, as they are blended with the Jade base skin, not just a transparant overlay, to achieve the very best result.

::::: I've been working on some new things since Sayuri's release, among which is reworking Eva and Hope. In the end the new skin turned out to be a blend between the two! You'll recognize Eva's cute button nose and Hope's soft pouty lips.
At first I had made completely different brows (as posted on flickr) but I had a few requests to keep the original ones, and I decided to do that.
I've taken Eva's body and softened up a lot of areas, especially the hands and chest, and making a new cleavage option for the small breasted. Five tones are almost ready, from ultra gothic desaturated pale to deep tan. I've gone for a more pastel look with less saturation this time. The tone range and numbers will NOT be the same as Eva's.
As soon as I have a definite release date I will let you know =)

::::: I have finally finished the Bella skin line! Bella will be released at the main store on friday november 6.
There will be 5 skintones from pale to dark tan, with 10 makeups each. Each makeup includes 3 eyebrow colors and 3 cleavage options.

::::: I started working again on the new female skin. Here's a pic of what it looks like now. The body has been overhauled as well, but I am not gonna show you yet *grins*.
I am trying to use more photo sourcing again. Now, I am not an expert nor a pro, and I learn as I go, so be gentle please =P
I've decided on a name, Bella.

::::: I'm not working as fast as I want to, and I keep tinkering with the new skin. I want to get the right balance of cute and mature. Something between kid and drag queen. LOL
So I'm afraid you'll have to wait a bit longer for it, but in the meantime I am also making some goodies for Journey's own simwide treasure hunt. I will announce that soon =)

::::: Ok, I have been toying with a male skin for quite a while. For some reason I never really felt like making one, but my (male) friends keep pushing me, never letting up. From time to time I work on it a bit, but never really confidently. For men there's an even higher standard set skinwise, so why try to compete? And I tell you, it IS harder to make a (decent) male skin.
Anyway, this is where I am at after on and off work for months, LOL. Have a look.



The male template nose is driving me nuts, it keeps making the nostrils look like triangles and I haven't found a way around it. Though I think there is none since every other male skin has it. The lips and eyebrows don't offer a lot of variation possibilities and grr let's not even start about the chest warping. The male avatar shape is very unforgiving and very limiting, if you ask me. More so than the female one. The male body also needs way more detailing in regard to hair, veins, muscles. I truly needed some help there. In a way I can understand why male skins are usually more expensive than female skins. I also wonder why they never offer more eyebrow colors. Face it, if you're a blonde or light brown haired male, you're pretty much f*cked and forced to wear black hair like the masses or just decide not to care and look like a guy with a wig. Mine will definately have a dark AND light brow option. (see pics, left is dark, right is a lighter, brown brow)

Well, I have lots more work to do on this skin but I guess at some point it will be suitable for release. So PLEASE guys, men, dudes, stop twisting my arm! LOL

::::: I hope you all had a great Christmas celebration! Here in Holland we have two Christmas days, yep, stores are closed still. Don't ask me why we have two days, I have no clue, lol. It's pretty pointless.
Anyway, I hope you're liking the Kalista skins. I have moved on to the next things on my to-do list, which includes upgrading Elizabeth, new makeups for Meredith, a pale tone for Kalista and, haha yes, another new skin.

I could call this an Emily remake, but she has already taken on a different look, although the glossy lips are still there. Trying a bit of photosourcing on her too to get a more realistic skin texture, with spots and imperfections, but I don't know yet how this is gonna work out.
Here's a little snapshot of the progress. Please note that this may not be the end result! But I wanted to show you what I am working on, there's no slacking here! xD

::::: October 10 is rushing towards me, and I still have a zillion things to finish... Events are being organized, and it promises to be a great opening weekend! As soon as I have the final schedule I will post it.

Next to a new skinline called Sumi, I am also working on Meredith, a skinline that is very different (at least in my opinion) from my other skin work. I experimented more with photosourcing for the face, and so far the results are interesting. I think you'll either hate it, or love it. Here's a little preview.

::::: A little skin update =) I've made some changes, and actually came up with more than one face, so I decided to keep them all, and give them names and their own unique makeup packs. Hopefully there will be a look for everyone =)
Skintones have always been a bit of a problem for me. I just don't like the dark tones I come up with, so for now I am sticking to tones up to tanned. All skins will include a freckled version, plus dark brows, light brows and redhead brows!
Here's a preview of the first face, I called it Celeste. Don't worry, the cute glossy lips face will also still be released, gotta think of a cute name for that =)
